Interaction & material direction

Morrow / Duo CoffeeBurnt-orange enamelled aluminium. Polished steel.
A ritual with
room for character.
Morrow places the cup at the centre of its silhouette. A large circular opening cuts through a burnt-orange oval shell, giving the moment of brewing its own physical stage.
A polished group head and circular tray sit within that opening. Beside them, a tall vermilion lever rises from a cylindrical pivot, making the manual interaction visible and direct.
The open chamber gives the working parts room inside the larger silhouette.
Orange enamel gives a compact daily appliance a distinct place on the counter.
A bold body.
A direct interaction.
- The opening defines the object
- The circular brewing chamber establishes the relationship between the outer shell and the cup. Its deep opening reduces visual mass while keeping the oval body clearly recognisable.
- A lever you can read
- The long vermilion lever stands beside the main volume, rising from a polished cylindrical pivot. Its generous scale makes the manual action part of the machine's outline.
- Colour around the mechanism
- Burnt-orange enamel gives the shell its character; polished steel identifies the group head and tray. The finish changes follow the distinction between the body and its working parts.
