How Lintel Partners collects, uses and protects personal data, in plain words. It covers this website, our forms and our client engagements.

Last updated 14 October 2026

01Who we are

Lintel Partners, Lda. (“Lintel”, “we”) is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Our registered office is at Avenida da República 41, 1050-187 Lisbon, Portugal, and we are registered with the Lisbon Commercial Registry under number 515 384 220.

For anything about your data, write to privacy@lintelpartners.com or to the address above, marked “Data protection”.

02What we collect

We collect only what we need to answer you and to run an engagement:

  • Contact details you give us: name, work email, phone, company, country and role.
  • What you tell us in the diagnostic form or by email: the topics, timing and company size you choose, and any message.
  • Client engagement data: the business information you share during a project, under the confidentiality terms of our contract.
  • Website data: the cookies described in our cookies policy, and server logs kept for security.

03Why we use it

Purpose Legal basis Kept for
Answering a diagnostic request Steps before a contract, at your request 12 months after the last contact
Delivering an engagement Performance of our contract 10 years after the engagement ends (accounting law)
Monthly case-study email Your consent, withdrawn at any time Until you unsubscribe
Recruitment Steps before a contract, at your request 12 months, or longer with your consent

04Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the providers who host our website, email and files, our accounting firm, and, when you ask us to apply for co-funding, the programme that runs it. Each provider works under a data processing agreement.

Our offices in Morocco, the United Arab Emirates and Canada may see your data when they work on your engagement. Transfers outside the European Economic Area use the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

05Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. We answer within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), or to the authority where you live.

06How we protect it

Access to client data is limited to the team on the engagement. Files are encrypted at rest and in transit, devices are managed, and our information security is certified to ISO 27001.

07Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we tell you by email first.
