Before a call. Before a commitment.

Curiosity doesn’t need a sales call.

Use your electricity bill to explore a starting system size, price and long-term savings. Nothing is sent to an installer.

You bring

Your monthly bill and a little curiosity.

One important thing: installation and permission to switch on are separate milestones.

A real plan leaves room for real life

Less “any news?” More “here’s next.”

There isn’t one installation timeline for every home. These are the things your installer needs to check.

Your home and roof

Roof repairs, structural checks or electrical upgrades can add work before installation. A survey should identify these early.

Permits and paperwork

Local permits and inspections follow the rules and availability in your area. Your installer should explain what has been submitted and what is still pending.

Your utility’s approval

Connecting to the grid may require utility approval, metering changes or a final inspection. A completed installation does not automatically mean it can be switched on.

More solar questions
When does an estimate become a final quote?

After the installer checks the property, roof, electrics and tariff. The final quote should spell out equipment, installation, any extra work and payment terms before you agree.

Do I need to be home during installation?

Your installer will confirm access and attendance requirements. Electrical work may need access inside, and any planned outage should be discussed beforehand.

Can I change my mind after the estimate?

The illustrative online estimate carries no commitment. Before signing a real installation agreement, read the cancellation terms and ask your installer to explain them.

What happens if the survey changes the price?

Ask for a revised, itemised quote that explains the reason for the change. Take time to review it before accepting the design or scheduling work.
