Fix it before anyone notices

About Salve
Salve started with two people who spent years driving to chargers in the middle of the night to press a reset button. We are building the operations console we wished we had.

How it started
Maya ran field operations for a regional charging network in Texas. Ben wrote charger firmware for six years. They met on a cold January night at a travel plaza on I-35, both there for the same broken charger, which turned out to need a single reset.
They pulled a year of fault logs and found that most incidents followed patterns: the same codes, on the same models, fixed the same way. None of it needed a person on site, and most of it did not need a person awake.
Salve is the result: a console that reads every message a charger sends, fixes what it safely can, and hands the rest to people with everything they need. We still measure ourselves the same way: how many people did not have to get up tonight.

What we believe
When we disagree about a feature, one of these usually settles it. They are also why customers trust Salve with their chargers at night.
The best incident is the one a driver never sees and an engineer reads about over coffee.
Every command Salve sends comes from a playbook a person approved. Watch-only is always one switch away.
Every diagnosis comes with the raw messages behind it, and every fix with the test that proved it.
The person standing at the charger deserves to know what is happening, before they think to ask.
Milestones
Every milestone started with a customer asking for something we had not built yet.
Leadership
Half of our team ran charging networks, field crews or charger hardware before joining Salve. It shows in what we build.

Careers
We hire people who have felt the problem, and people who are very good at solving someone else’s. Austin, Denver or remote in the US.
Most first calls are run by someone who used to run a charging network. Bring your hardest night.
